Home Styles From Cedar Square Homes Part 2

This week we continue our exhibition of the innovative home styles on offer by Cedar Square Homes. Beginning with the large Maxwell, we will continue the versatile Willow Oak and Willow Oak 2. If you want a new home that will never go out of style consider one of these homes or one from the blog last week.

The Maxwell

The two story Maxwell is the largest of the home styles on offer from Cedar Square Homes with about 2050 sq ft in the standard floor plan. The Maxwell features four bedrooms and two and half bathrooms standard. On the ground floor the front door opens to the foyer, which is open to the living room. A central hallway leads to the stairs to the second floor, a hallway that leads to a closet, the two car garage, and the powder room, and continues to the back of the house which contains a large open concept space where the kitchen, dining room, and family room are.

The stairs are U shaped with an intermediate landing between the first floor and second floor. When you come up the stairs to the second floor you come to a central hall with access to the four bedrooms, a linen closet, and full bathroom. The three regular bedrooms all have large windows and have built in closets. The master bedroom has a cathedral ceiling, large walk in closet featuring a window, and a large master bathroom with his and her vanity, and separate standing shower and tub.

The Willow Oak

The Willow Oak has a relatively narrow floor plan compared to our other home styles which allows it to fit on narrow lots. The standard Willow Oak floor plan is 1720 sq ft with four bedrooms and two and a half baths. Through the covered front door on the covered front porch you enter the foyer, with a closet on your left, the stairs to the second floor immediately in front of you, and the open living room to your right. The living room extends into the open concept dining room, breakfast nook, and kitchen. The kitchen features a large island, a large pantry, and access to the single car garage, laundry room, and powder room. The garage access to the kitchen provides for convenient unloading of groceries after trips to the store. Up the stairs you arrive at an upstairs U shaped hallway. Immediately ahead is the shared upstairs bathroom, in each corner of the hallway there is a different bedroom. The master bedroom is 202 sq ft with two large forward facing windows, walk in closet, and master bathroom featuring separate standing tower and soaking tub, and his and hers vanity. The remaining bedrooms are 115 sq ft, 116 sq ft, and 120 sq ft respectively, each with their own large built in closets, and windows.

The Willow Oak II

The Willow Oak II, as its name suggests, is a home style largely similar to the floor plan of the original Willow Oak. The main difference is that The Willow II has an additional 170 sq ft standard, for a total of 1890 sq ft, and it has a two car garage. The additional square footage is mostly found in the master bedroom which sports an additional 30 sq ft and an additional walk in closet. If you like the willow oak, but want more space, The Willow Oak II is perfect for you.
