At face value, this suggestion sounds overwhelming, and we can understand why! Even a small home can be exhausting to keep clean, even if you don’t have kids or pets! Make the entire process more efficient by choosing one task to do all over the house instead of going room by room. For instance, vacuuming throughout the house one day keeps you from having to split up the effort and finish up later which can extend how much time you have to spend cleaning.
Keep All Cleaning Tools Together
Another suggestion is to keep all of your cleaning supplies together. This way, you won’t need to waste time looking for cleaning wipes or sprays when it is time to disinfect surfaces in the bathroom or kitchen of your home, or finding your mop and broom when you need to clean the floors in these two rooms. A caddy, tote, or bucket can make your life easier and also help decrease the amount of clutter in your life. On the surface, this doesn’t sound that important, but it is a proven time-saver!
Disinfect!
The time has come to disinfect your surroundings. Write down a list of all the hard surfaces in your Annapolis home and follow that list. Start by disinfecting countertops and then move onto appliances and cabinets. After that, you will want to disinfect any other commonly touched surfaces, such as smartphones, handrails, light switches, and TV remotes.
